Module 12: Integration – Leaving Cert Higher Level Maths Integration is the natural partner to differentiation, and together they form the foundation of calculus on the Leaving Cert Higher Level Maths course. In this module, we introduce the key techniques and applications of integration. You’ll learn how to approach problems step by step and how integration is used to solve real-world problems in motion and area. We’ll cover: - Introducing integration and antiderivatives - Integrating trigonometric and exponential functions - Displacement, velocity, and acceleration - Definite integrals - Finding the area under a curve - Average value of a function These topics will be explored in our live lessons, where we’ll work through examples, past exam questions, and common challenges. Integration often features heavily on Paper 1, and this module will help you become confident in both the process and the applications.
