Module 15: Financial Maths – Leaving Cert Higher Level Maths Financial Maths is one of the most useful and relatable topics in the course, and it’s a great opportunity to secure marks with the help of formulas and clear methods. In this module, we’ll cover: - Compound interest - Depreciation - Instalment savings (annuities) - Loans and mortgages These concepts appear in real-life scenarios, usually in Paper 1, but also sometimes in paper 2. Together we’ll break them down, look at how to use the formulas correctly, and practise applying them to exam-style questions.
