Module 5: Area, Perimeter and Volume – Leaving Cert Higher Level Maths This is one of those quiet but crucial modules. It doesn’t always feel like the most difficult content, but area, perimeter and volume come up in a wide variety of ways across both Paper 1 and Paper 2 , often where students least expect it. Getting confident with these topics means picking up reliable marks in both geometry-style and real-world application questions. It’s also an excellent opportunity to practice showing clear steps in your working, something that is rewarded in exams.
